LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

- Ril (Mobile data,calls, sms and stuff)

- Buttons
- Bluetooth
- Wifi HotSpot
- MTP
- 2D and 3D gpu acceleration
- Stuff I didn't test yet

What's not working
- Video recording @1080 is slight laggy
- Text messages say "message not sent" but in actual the SMS is sent
- Sometimes screen on delay once after a reboot(Same as in RR)
- Stuff I didn't test

WARNING:
A clean flash is recommended. Make sure you format /data before flashing.

Installation:
  1. Download the zip(s)
  2. Wipe data/factory reset (Needed on first install)
  3. Flash LineageOS
  4. Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package
  5. Reboot
